Noah’s Ark is one of Jan Brueghel de Velours (Velvet Brueghel) – 1568-1625 – most renowned subjects, chosen by the artist to display his skill in depicting exotic animals, flowers and landscapes. Collaborated with Peter Paul Rubens on some of his most important paintings including the renowned Christ in the House of Martha and Mary in the National Gallery of Ireland.
